Historická románová trilógia s jedinečnou tématikou, spracovanou preom bravúrneho autora. Približuje príbeh Tróje, najslávnejšieho mesta svojich čias s prihliadnutím na historické udalosti a skutočnosti.

Ainenias, prezývaný Helikaón alebo Šťastlivec je jeden z najúspešnejších obchodníkov súčasného sveta. Na Xantose, Mŕtvej lodi, ktorá je najväčšou aká kedy bola postavená brázdi Veľké Zelené more. Je priateľom trójskeho princa Hektora, syna kráľa Priama s ktorým ho spájajú príbuzenské vzťahy. Dostane za úlohu priviezť na Xantose do tróje budúcu manželku princa Hektora, Andromachu, ktorá mala nahradiť svoju sestru ktorá záhadne zomrela ešte pred svatbou. Andromacha, žijúca už niekoľlko rokou ako kňažka na Tére /dnešné Santorini/, kde sa s ostatnými kňažkami oddáva lesbickým radovánkam vydajom nadšená nie je. Cestou z Téry do Tróje stretne pri prenocovaní na nejakom ostrove starého priateľa Odyseha, Itackého kráľa, torého vedú vlastné obchodné povinnosti....
Okej, myslím, že storyo Tróji každý z Vás pozná, ale tento príbeh sa od tradičného Homérovského či filmového spracovania značne líši. Najmä tým, že je písaný viac menej z pohľadu Trójanov, a nie Mykénčanov /Grékov, Sparťanov, to je jedno/ ako ste boli zvyknutí. Okrem toho poskytuje ucelenejšiu predstavu o vývine celého vojnového konfliktu medzi Trójou a Mykénami a je neuveriteľne dobre napísaný.
Autorovo majstrovstvo, vdýchnutie nového života starému, zaprášenému a už iks krát omieľanému príbehu Vám istotne vyrazí dych.
